Old Batteries

Anybody know where I could sell old batteries for some cash??
I have several dozen that my work is telling me to find somewere to recycle them on my own and wont let me drop them off at the office. I could take them to the city recycling center but I have heard that some places will accually give you a couple bucks per battery.
Please let me know if you know of a place.

Macon Iron down here was paying money for batteries! Check your local scrap yard and see if you have any luck there.

I checked a few local junk yards and they wont even take them, lol.
I might have to check some buisness' or something.
Anyone know were to start?
Maybe a Batteries Plus or Radio Shack??
