Bose Home stereos are awesome, and from the ones I've heard as OEM pieces in cars they sound pretty damned good too. They are outrageously priced though.

Or have you just never heard a properly assembled audio system?

You can't tell me bose or sony makes a better subwoofer than something like the TC-Sounds LMS-Ultra or that the Adire/Exodus audio kits don't blow anything that Bose has ever done out of the water.

Actually, i have sold electronics before and Bose was some of our best stuff. If you notice, everyone disagrees so you're the one with the cotton.

I knew one of you types would be posting up, do you honestly think 90 percent of the audio purchasing masses are pure audiophiles? Seriously, thats why Bose is still in business and thats why they can charge what they want almost. It sounds good to the masses , just like Honda Civics are good enough for 80 percent of the driving population.

bose is rediculously priced for he quality you're getting. its easy to use which is why ppl buy it. it sounds nice IF you have no idea what to listen for. i, personally, am not a fan of bose equipment (with the exception of professional stuff). but rock out with ur cocky out if thats what u like

Dude this is really old, I thnik they have abondon the project. Automag had an article on it years ago. The thing was suppose to come out in 1992, Then I believe in 2005 he said in 6 months.

If you car comes factory with Bose, its cool and sounds GREAT. If my speakers died, I would not buy Bose aftermarket at all due to their price alone.

bose speaker beside my mac = awesome :boobies: ... The stock system that comes with an infiniti is pretty good for stock, actually one of the best stock systems i've seen.

But I can seriously see large unwieldy strut towers and huge replacement costs.
