Leisa Lowenthal memorial Drive-in TONIGHT

Ok folks, here we go.

Some of the real big wigs have wanted to do something for our friend Brett and in Leisa's memory. What they have come up with is a Leisa Lowenthal Memorial Drive-in.

It will be held at Gwinnett's Malibu Grand Prix, which is right off Indian Trail Road on October 30th from 7-10 p.m. There will be raffles and give-a-ways as well as some very cool cars there. To park, and more importantly help Brett out, the cost will be $10/car.

ALL of the proceeds go directly to Brett. I'm going to repeat that: ALL OF THE PROCEEDS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO BRETT.

Malibu Grand Prix has also agreed to donate 20% of all sales to those people attending the drive-in. All participants will receive an arm band to identify you as a participant and also let them know that 20% of what you spend inside will go DIRECTLY TO THE BENEFIT.

There is going to be car audio equipment, automotive equipment, and possibly others as part of the raffles and give-a-ways. Stay tuned for all those details as they surface.

Please mark your calendars and make plans to attend. This is to honor Leisa's memory and help raise some money to help our friend Brett.

Dracc: I have spoken to the folks at Malibu....we have been hosting monthly cruise nights there for a few years....so they know what to expect.

Alpine XJ (and everyone else): PLEASE try and make it out.... Its for a great cause, and its always nice to faces with the names on the board...

I think that I may have met Leisa at a Varsity meet once or twice. She was a very nice lady. I was very sad to hear she passed away. If I was still in GA, I would do this. RIP Leisa.

I will be there tomorow night, maybe a few others from blindside will come too. I will be there in the black n/a csvt, taking the silver car would mean me getting off work at 7, driving the 10 miles home hooking up the battery, letting the car run to warm the turbo then heading out to there.
