DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A Daytona Beach school bus driver accused of stopping a school bus on railroad tracks and threatening to leave the children there is under investigation.

Glen Teschner's 12-year-old stepdaughter told her the bus driver stopped the bus on the railroad tracks and threatened to leave all the children there to die.

Volusia County Schools spokeswoman Nancy Wait says drivers are supposed to stop at all railroad crossings and be able to see 1,000 feet down the tracks. Wait says they still don't know exactly what happened on Monday, but it's being investigated.

The driver, who has not been identified, has been placed in another job within the transportation division.
