I saw on the news today that the gas up here in buford is that price at a few places!
It was at buford dam and shadburn ferry, at a shell station. Even the marathon down the street at shadburn ferry and P'tree ind was only $2.96.

Guys, the funny part was that people didnt even notice that the first digit was a 2! There was some gorgeous blond girl at the pump next to me, and I asked her what she payed for gas last time; she said "i think about the same as now, about three eighty or so." She had no idea it was $2 until I told her. There are 12 pumps IIRC, and only 5 people there including myself. Marathon was selling for right under $3, within about 5c, and had lines 3 or 4 deep at every pump...
Damn, i should have tried to get her number, but I was too excited about gas. Bummer.

According to my co-worker that lives near that area, the station in question is usually a bit cheaper than the others around it though he does find it odd that it's this cheap. Still, considering how the other stations are just above $3, it may just be a sign of things to come. Here's hoping anyway.
