    Default What do you call your grandparents????

    I'm from Michigan, most my family/friends just call their grandparents "grandpa/grandma" maybe add a first/last name to it since you've got mother/father sides.. and greats...

    moved to ga.. and every one has a diff name for their grandparents... meemaw/paw paw, nana/pa pa, gin gin/pappy.... list goes on and on....

    i call mine grandpa/grandma... on my mothers side... that's her step mom though..... her real mother/my real grandmother is Granny!

    fathers side was grandpa larry (he passed).. and my grandma edna...


    what do you call yours???

    I call mine grandma and grandpa... Family is from Michigan, so that's all I ever heard growing up.

    Perfect example. A couple I used to work with had a boy. He calls his grandmother (whose name is Charlene) Nanna Char. I mean WTF people?!

    like... i get calling my grandmother granny.... (sorta) one it just fits her.. honestly!!! lol.. two my mother had 2 moms so we had to call her something different to keep confusion down... lol

    grandma and shirley....shirley is my biological grandfather but is a deadbeat douschnozzle

    on my moms side....
    poppa and granny


    my son calls my parents....
    nana and paw paw

    my wifes parents...

    This is accually what my family is talking about right now. My mom dosent want to be known as "grandma" yet.. lol..

    im not sure what we are gonna dicide yet though. I call my moms mom nana, and Papa, was my grandpa before he passed. my dads side is grandma
