She is breathing on her own, they just have oxygen blowing into the neck where they did the trac in BUT I have not seen her move at all in 2 days, which kinda lets me down. Still no attempt on her part to wake up or any signs its going to happen soon, I just dont understand why she cant wake up.

No updates today, I havent seen her really move around in 2 days and the nurses say the only time she moves is when they do pain tests on each leg & arm to make sure she still responds to pain.

Okay, I just got a call from Northside and she will be transferred to the long term facility today at 2:00pm. So from here on out, if anyone wants to come see her she will no longer be at Northside.

I live about 5 minutes (probably less) from the new Hospital. If you need a place to take a break for a while, or a home cooked meal or a shower or whatever (anything that you don't want to have to drive home for), let me know. You can even keep some things at my house if you need to. I will PM you my cell. I get home from work at 4 and I usually have dinner ready at 8. There is always plenty to share since it is only Dan an I. Whatever you need, just let me know.

Well guys, I wish today was looking better but Leisa now has a staff infection in her blood. This I am told can be fatal especially when her brain and body are so weak. Now her eyes do not react to light like they have been when they would shine a light in her eye, that is a major concern for them as well now, and add that she is back on the ventilator. When I opened one of her eyes yesterday to look her eyes looked so glassy. Leisa’s mom even know is telling me I may want to start looking into funeral arrangements or services, etc because even now she feels in her heart like I do, that Leisa is not going to wake up and now may be a matter of time before her body cant hold out.

Well guys, yesterday was not a good day for her. She had a 102 Degree fever over night Friday night through most of yesterday, Then her breating started to become a tad eratic so they had to put her on the ventilator again and then her blood pressure bottomed out VERy low.

Leisa's mom had to chew this place out this morning due to have have not bathed her since she was moved Thursday, or done other things to take care of her so when I go down there today, I will see what is going on as well.

But In some ways it seems she made some steps backwards which is not good. Guys, PLEASE I BEG, Pray harder. She is all I have in this world, I can not have a life without her.

I went to go see her today, gave her lots of kisses on her lips and hands, held her hand and talked for a bit, while her mom was yapping for ever on my cell phone I even put it up to Leisa's ear so she can have to listen to her for a bit...lol

Today she is stable. Blood pressure is fine and they say she has some sort of infection but they dont know from what yet, lab results should be back by tomorrow. Her kidney levels are elevated but they say it could be from her 102 fever yesterday so they are watching that as well.

There is really nothing point in a direction showing any hope of her ever waking up, at this point I can only pray whatever is going on inside her takes her so we can put her to rest, she is tired, her body is tired, I can see it when I look at her. She has nothing left in her to fight.

Keep your chin up and stay positive and good things will happen. If you just walk around waiting for something bad to happen it will. Stay positive as hard as it is and just wait. Good things will happen.
