well my dad went down there for truck driving school and he said there wasnt really any white people around there.

New orleans is 67%( i think) black, and most ppl are poor, and its surrounded by the projects nothin but the projects. And thats the only place that truly was flooded. Anyone that has been down there can tell u, its a city surrounded by projects, u step out side the bright lights your in trouble. You know what actually the projects arouns the city are actually bigger thatn the city..coem to think of it.

I think it's f ing ridiculous that this is turning into a racial thing...How can these people say that no one is trying to help, when there are thugs shooting at helicopters, basically turning away the help? I cannot stand it, and I think it's crap. I would go down there myself and help if I could, I feel awful for all those people...but they sit there and basically tell me that I am piece of crap because I am white, and that's why I'm not helping? I am sick and tired of the "feel sorry for me" act, like I was a slave owner and lived in the 1800's or something.
