They did not collide anything yet, they will do that in October. BUT people still freaked by them just hitting the power button..... Today they just sent one beam around the 17 mile tube.

One thing I do hope they get from this machine is the proof of other dimensions. They say this machine may be able to prove that theory as well.

they only set 1 beam arround clockwise and it wasnt even near full power. They "hope" that the 2nd test to run the counterclockwise beam goes smoothly, and that it will be at least another year before they can make full power tests.

it will be something like 4 years later, if anything were to go wrong, before we would know. They "believe" that if something were to go wrong, that people will start to see a glow coming from the Indian Ocean that no one could explain. Weird.
