    Default What would you do?

I arrived at work yesterday to find a full grown Rotwieler on my yard. She barked at me at first but is actually a very sweet dog.

WOW what a freaking suprise. So i waited to see if she would move on and she moved outside of the fence so i was cool i though i dodged a bullet. But when i left i saw her in the parking lot but i thought she would surely be gone when i got back in the next day.

Well fast forward to now and she is sitting right inside my office just chillin. I dont want to send her to the pound but i cannot let her stay here and i cannot take her home (i live in a third story apartment)

I need to find someone that would take her she is a very good dog and has no flees and was someones pet (she is very well fed)

So bottom line is do i call the pound or try and find someone to take her home? HELP!

Take her in, she wants you to be her master.

Because if she wasn't a dog then would be. All women want masters, just some are too stubborn to admit it.

Dude, if you can't take her in the let me know. I know of a good shelter that doesn't put down animals.

If you have anytime to wait you could make signs that say dog found and any information you may have. Other than that the pound may be your only other logical option. People that lose their dogs often go to pounds with the (unlikely) hope of finding their lost animals. I hope you resolve everything.

Checking with a local Petsmart can direct you to your nearest no-put-down animal shelter. That'd be my first choice.

Call a rescue or find a home for her yourself. I would highly recommend not giving her to the pound worst place to put a lost dog

If it attacks/threatens you, shoot it and make sure you shoot it dead.

Otherwise call the nearest most convenient pound.

Find her a home! The pound will put it to sleep after so long.

.... and of they dont in 72 hours the dog would be put down. The pound is not a good choice. Either find her a home, OR maybe a rescue that doesnt put dogs down
