at work!!!! i work at a movie theater and my promotion be came official today when i got trained in projection. idk wat the pay raise is but it fun and easy u thread the moive in the projector head from the platter and start the projector and ur done
and u have hour breaks between a round of movie to do NOTHING exceot may be clean alittle the u just sit around its awesome

i work at a theatre also, easy freakin job. But, our theatre don't run on 35mm anymore, we have digital projectors. No more projectionist as they start by themselves and que by themselves.
ready to leave though, they're opening a discount tires here in newnan real soon, gonna apply thurr...

It gets easier in the fact you aren't picking up pieces of **** on the floor, but its more stressful and crap actually matters rather then endless mindless bull****.

What you have may seem like a "starting job", but I'm telling you what....I'd love to own my own small theater and spool movies for a living. That would be the life.

Congrats on the job and all, but I would recommend getting a job at a discount tire, car dealer, Quick Lube, or whatnot so you're ahead of the curve when you hit UTI. It's a really great school but slightly difficult classes if you're not ready for their work load. Plus if you work w/ a dealer then you have a guaranteed job when you get out unless a pro-team hires you right out of school. But other than that congrats on the minimum wage raise...
