My encounter with OnStar...

Ok. Some of us in Similar Thoughts went to the GM test drive day today. Hung, AZN, Chuck and I. When my wife and I went to test drive the H2, we had to do a lesser degree SUV. There were no people in line for the Buick Rendevous. So we chose it. As I get in, I notice the OnStar button. I press it to see what would happen. After I got through, the operator identified herself and asked what she could help me with. I told her that I was lost and needed to find my way home. That was when I was told that I was not lost and that I was driving a test drive vehicle at the show. Oh well. Click this whole long ass post to see a video of me trying to make contact with OnStar. OnStar is the poopy! When eva i rode around in my parents new caddy id always press the button, just to ask stupid stuff. Like what movies are playing and local wether, or even better ask how do i get sumwhere and since they have tracker in it they said "Mr. Heaton you seem to already be there"

i got you beat on this one,, When I drove the escalade today, I had it call my cell phone through its voice activated system. When I got out, and turned the car off, I stayed connected so that my voice could be heard over the stereo system. As people got in and drove it I talked to em. They thought it was the car talking. Gave me something to do while I was in line.
