They are getting screwed as well though because the more foreclosed houses that sell for 50 cents on the dollar bring EVERYONES value way way down. So half the people out there are sick of paying for a losing asset and paying on a house that is not worth anywhere near what they paid for it. This bill is garbage just like the stimulus package.
