    Default Our first club outing....

As our first Similar Thoughts outing came to a close, we realized that we are much more than a automotive club. We are a family. After just this one outing, I feel that we have become more as one than any other club that has been around for several years, like ECI or All-Stars. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day at the AISM test drive rally today. Chuck bailed, AZN got kicked out, Hung Wei Lo and his date got in every long line at the event and my wife and I enjoyed an awesome sack lunch consisting of a banana, bag of plain chips and a chocolate chip cookie. Sprite to drink. Here are a couple of shots of some of the group:

AZNTraitor hopping out of his G-ride, a 2005 Saab 9-3 Sportwagon

Chuck fixin to bail in his 2005 Saab 9-3 topless

Hung Wizzle and his date in the line for his H2

Fun was had by all and we look forward to doing more family-oriented functions. Later, QDizzle.

It was held at Turner Field. I am now uploading a video of my encounter with OnStar that I activated during a test drive. Later, QD.

yeah, I got kicked....but I got 9 runs in! ha!

what did it was the dude who was checking wrist bands before starting off, and kept saying to me "keep it under 25 and dont spin the tires, oh wait, this thing cant" so basically he was challenging me....and since I dont take challenges to lightly, I said "OKAY!" and proceeded to flog the shit out of both the 9-5 Wagon and the 9-2X wagon.....making them spin the tires thru every run.....my best run was in the 9-5....I came barreling around the back turn and yanked up the e-brake perfectly and came sliding around the corner, I had to stop because a official came running at us and told us to "cool it". When it was about a hour before it was over, I decided if I was gonna go, I was gonna go out with a bang and get kicked out....I got me and my cousins, so it I was rolling 4 deep....we were in the 9-2X and the guy said the same line, so I floored it and came into the back scretch really fast and yanked the ebrake a little to late and ended up sliding right off the course and killing 9 cones as I came thru the turn......and that my friends is how you get kicked out of a Ride and Drive....haha

this is the crappy video i took of my friend running the 9-3 through the first course. nothing too special, we took it pretty easy for the most part, this was our first run so the course was pretty much unknown.
