    hope your not talking about kennedy, the last president to be shot was reagan. and of course there was lincoln who took one dead to the head. and security can only do so much if a bullet is coming from over a mile away. remember bullets go faster than the speed of sound.

    The reagan attempt was 27 years ago. That falls in the 30 or so range. And any bullet moving at a mile cant be that accurate nor powerful..

    Back when Reagan and Kennedy were getting capped, the secret service was more lax and the intelligence was no where near as advanced....
