Default Anyone ever done the get paid to drive your car thing?

With the companys that put the ad on your car and pay you based on miles or whatever? Is it worth it? I drive a company truck 300+ miles a day... I figure why not if there is any decent pay in it.

    Just an idea, flame away.

This is the EXACT same answer I got when I posted about this. From reading the rules and requirements from different companies that do that, I figured it wasn't worth it. You have to go to several events a month to show off the car. Also, there are very few if any companies that will advertise on a car that isn't brand new or a couple years old. Plus some companies require that you drive through certain areas instead of others to get the most people to look at the ads.

Well this is an 08 F-150... I drive through Norcross, Duluth, Alpheretta, Doraville, Atlanta, Chamblee and some other areas daily so I figure I drive enough and in a busy enough area. Only thing with events or whatever is the truck also has other advertising on it already...

They won't do it if there are other ads on the car. Typically they would wrap a significant portion of the car in vinyl - one giant advertisement. I suppose you could remove the original ads from the truck and put them back on AFTER you go through the process, but they check up on you every now and then.

Oh, well nevermind then. The entire cab and front end is free, thats what I was hoping they would use

I get paid by the state to drive around.

Well, it gets reimbursed as a business expense.
