Need help unlocking a phone

does anyone know how to unlock a phone....i need my motorola razor v3 unlocked....its cingular right now if so plz post up

Normally if you go back to where you got the phone from, they will unlock it for ya. I'm assuming that you did that? When that happened to my phone, they just asked for my account stuff and they unlocked it. I'm not sure if they could do it for your phone. I had verizon at the time. I usually don't lock my phone, but if i did lose it, I would just call the company to sieze the account. Plus its kinda a pain to enter the code all the time. Is it a lot of people have access to your phone and play with it??? Thats why you lock it?

I dont think he's talking about just the key lock, which is usually menu * I think he's talking about the security code for the phone.... I've heard they are sometimes the last 4 digits of the phone number.... i'd try all the basic codes... 0000 1111 1234 etc.

I think he means he wants to unlock it so he can use it with another services. Not like locking the keypad. If you find a place that tells you how to unlock motorlas let me know...I'm interested.
