    I don't get why people collect cars. They are meant to be driven, not stored....especially when it's 800k! There is not a car in the world that I wouldn't drive if I owned it.

    It's more a piece of automobile history. If everyone had your view, we'd have no old cars to look back at. We'd just have pictures. Those bids are not legitimate. That car will not sell for more than $300K. Obviously the owner must think it's worth a million, and people were just trying to find out his reserve price. Looks like he'll be keeping it for a long time.

    LOL, I guess I should have expected this from most of you. That car is EXTREMELY rare and has parts on it that are almost non-existant. Will he get that much for it? Watch Barrett Jackson sometime and you will see that they can go for more than that at times. In all realness he would probably pull 600k for it unless there were several intrested parties then it could go higher than 900k.

    Oh and the little comment about truck stops, redneck events, and dukes of hazzard shows is really funny. The majority of the populace has no idea what this car is and comments like that proves it.
