Nice cars, drove one once. It's not very practical though, it was too low for my neighborhood with no speed bumps. But just my two pennies.

I'd be fearful of the maintenance if anything were to go wrong on a late-model BMW.

everything you hear about BMW being unreliable is BS, they have their **** together. you'd be just as likely to get a ****ty benz as a BMW, everyone has bad apples in the bunch.
why not get a m3? is it a 6spd?

Go Mazdaspeed so you can get the factory turbo, or go regular model and put on a Flyin' Miata turbo kit.

if you want a convertible with some balls, why not get a clean low-mileage AP1?
You could always get an S2K or 350Z vert for a newer car. I would get a clean ass E30. I love those in vert.

I wanted one until i was informed that like 90% of people who drive them are middle aged women.
nice car though, i like the red interior with the black.
if you like it i say go for it.

The Z vert is hard to find less than $25k w/ low miles. i did find one close by w/ navi that im gonna go look at today though. The S2K I like too ...but i dunno

S2K's are sweet looking, but they don't have the room that I need personally. Not sure how that affects you though. Also, that frame bump in the floorboard infront of the seats is annoying as all hell.
for u s2k lovers
maybe the last couple of posts on this page of this thread will make the decision easier for you.![]()
