I work in a warehouse but i dont have any coworkers just me and i do what i want. I do have a office upstairs with the sales people but im rarely in it. Besides sometimes having do physical labor my job is a cakewalk but my dad owns the company so its not like I cant just leave work when i feel like it and still get paid. Gotta love salary

So I know both sides of the spectrum. Your post made yourself seem better just because you work in the office. Made you sound like a punk. Just because you work in an office, at the same company, doesn't mean you are any better then the warehouse workers at your company. First off, I have worked warehouse before. I worked in the warehouse department for UPS and it sucked @ss so don't give me any lectures about "both sides of the spectrum".

Actually, they need office workers like me to process returns, locate dealers, run the website, setup sponsorships, and input orders. So without me and the other "high and mighty" office guys, there wouldn't be sh*t to ship now would there? The system works both ways. We rely on them and they rely on us.

We cycle warehouse guys faster than you'd believe. Not sure why, but it's not my call since I don't own the company. We have like 2-3 that have been around here for a while, but the majority of the warehouse guys come and go like the wind.

lol, pretty much I suppose. Like most businesses, our office workers and warehouse guy have that kind of underlying rivalry between the groups. It's nothing taken seriously since we all get along for the most part, but we're always finding ways to demean (sp?) the other group. It's like the offense and defense of a football team. Both sides will argue how their group is more important than the other but, in the end, we're all the same team. Not sure how else to put it.

I get the best of both worlds. I am the Operations Manager for the company I work for so I have an office up front and run the warehouse. I come and go between both so the scenery never gets stale. The only thing that sucks about the warehouse is that it gets so damn hot in there. Thank Ceiling Cat for A/C in the office.
