    Default Bike Wreck on 85 S, On May 26th

    Anyone else see the large bike wreck on 85 S, right at the 285 Connector?

    I was literealy parallel to it when it happened. Idiot on a bike switched lanes, the lane he was in had a truck that got in a fender bender. The bike hit the truck probably at 100 or so.

    Bike exploded on impact, both people flew off. The driver was bouncing on the road faster than I was driving. I almost ran him over, swearing and braked. Truck got up on two wheels.

    I wanted another bike, but damn not anymore.

    It wasn't a blue GSX-R, was it?

    Any updates on the incident? I assume the riders died on impact but ya never know. News link?

    It's not about having a bike, it's about not being stupid on it.

    I was behind a wreck on 85 a couple months back, truck slid across the interstate and hit a 99+ mustang gt and they went into the median. All of this in front of us at about 90mph. Pretty scary stuff.

    Apparently the rider died. He had a passenger. I could have sworn it was a White 08 GSXR. Which scarred the crap out of me because my buddy is supposed to be the only one to have one in GA currently.

    But seriously, I saw the bike explode and the guy bounce, skid and flip down the road right next to my truck (while moving) and then going to so fast he got ahead of me.

    I froze up, it scarred the crap out of me because I am seriously wanting another bike but damn, I don't know so much anymore.

    That's sad. One of the comments on WSB said that it was his gf on the back. Hearing stories like these make me not want a bike so much anymore.

    yeah i drove by it last night coming home from dinner. kinda freaked me out when i saw dude on the ground with blood everywhere and ppl were around him in a circle praying.

    Not to sound Cold or anything ,But If its your time to go its your time to go.Doesnt matter if your driving a car or a semi to a motorcyle or a bike.I saw the guy get shot at Publix.It changed the way I look at life forreal my brotha has a bike.And makes me nervous seeing him ride off.
