I've had a damn good day today my sister finally graduated today with honors. I kinda feel old but anybody who had a younger sibling make it out of highschool has gotta be proud.

But seriously... speaking as a high school honor grad who is working on the 8 year college plan... tell your sis not to rest on her laurels and to keep her nose to the grindstone! I cruised through HS, got really good grades, was active in clubs and crap, graduated with full honors at the top of my class, and thought I could cruise through college, too... UGA whipped my ass and left it on a plate.
But, above all that.. congrats to her!

Congrats to your sister. I wouldn't know the younger sibling graduating thing. My little brother dropped out of high school and eventually got his GED. No graduation for him.

best part is what my mom was tellin my brother she was like " Now that your brother and you sister finally got their diploma's you're ass is screwed because damnit you're making it out on time! you aint commin between me and my escape to the bahamas. Forget having a social life you sister just ended it" I was like DAAAAYUM
he got the handshake and a job application huh... Mom threatened us that if we got a GED she'd kick our ass. Yay for an honor student straight a mom....
Exactly. Only he balled up the job application and tossed it in the trash. He's 27 now and still living at our mom's house. It's sad. I was the straight "A" honor kid, he was the steal beer and go to jail kid. Yup, we are two very different brothers.
