    Default The last thing I expected to see today

    This may belong in the pictures thread but i'm putting it in here dammit!

    My mouth dropped open and I acutally got goosebumps, this is where I like my taxes to go.
















    I have had more than once an F-22 Raptor do a full afterburner verticle over my head, and have stood under Harriers when they have the nozzles down and nothing is as loud as this ****ing thing. I almost had tears in my eyes it was so cool. My pride in my country grew a little today.

    Awesome I use to see alot of B-1s doing training missions up here in the mtns. We were up at a house on top of a hill and one came by inches above the trees. Yes inches, you could see the tops of the tree coming apart, I=Speechless. Would love to see one of those in person

    on the opposite end of the spectrum, while i have similar feelings as yours(pride in country), i feel a little different when i see my friend lose his job and start collecting unemployment. $300 a week. who pays for that eh?

    Yep the parking lot of Jim Ellis VW. Right off the end of the runway. I worked there for about a year and a half and have seen some awesome **** but never one of these. I am glad I necided to stop by on my way home from work to visit some old co-workers.

    Crazy, I saw 2 F-22 Raptors fly over me earlier this evening.

    Hmm, whats going on, two sightings.

    I didn't take pictures because I didn't want the government after me...again.

    DAMN BAD ASS

    Every two weeks or so a few fighter jets do some bad ass flying above my house, full afterburners and stuff. It's awesome I RUN outside and watch in awe.

    NO ****!!!! i thought i saw that yesterday too!!! where abouts did you see it???? i thought i saw one around 7-730 ish in the marietta/powder springs area!! it was a good ways off... and i was driving so i thought i was just seeing things!

    B-2s are not stationed at dobbins, so your lucky to see that. At dobbins there are large transport planes and learjet type planes. And they do the final assembling of the F-22s there and fly them out with the occasional F-16 following behind. and the navy has some f-18s there.

    It was most likely from Whiteman AFB in Missouri.
