I was wondering where mine was after some searching I found out that if you had your tax preparation fees deducted from your refund (like I did) or if you did a refund anticipation loan you will get a paper check instead of the direct deposit.

Did you e-file with something like Turbo tax, etc? If so like I did but paid the e-file fee out of the refund you will get a paper check even though your refund was direct deposited.

i dont know about all that, we always use turbotax, we efiled, and we got ours (SS# 74) on the 9th or 10th i think....though mines already spent...staggered 18's and 3" mirror lips here i come :boobies:

are you yelling at me old man? you better sit down before i break that other hip....lol, must be what it is, i owed 740 fed and got 765 back on state, we paid the 740/efiling fee with a credit card b/c we waited until like 2 days before the deadline to file since we knew we were breaking even and just paid it off when the state deposited a week or so ago....and bam $1500 deposited the other day (i have a hard time giving the government an interest free loan, so i play around with my dependents to try to break even, this is the closest ive gotten to dead even so far, i claimed 6 dep. on fed, and 2 on state....i actually changed it back this year to both being 0, use it as a built in savings account for a big trip we are planning next year)

nemesis, i just got my letter, even though ive already gotten my $....the # it lists to contact with questions is 1-866-234-2942...and id assume all you need is your ss#, probably call and find out when its scheduled to be there

I'm not in school and will be 19 in July and my dad didn't claim me. I worked and filed this year making well over the minimum net to qualify. I never got a letter so does this mean I won't get one?

i never got a letter either. you can go to irs.gov and see if you qualify on there. there's a calculator that is supposed to tell you about how much to expect too.

Not necessarily, its only if you are 17 or younger. My parents claimed me, and they didn't get **** for me, which is ghey.

Thier website has a link that you can enter your social, etc and it will give you the status. If you are getting a paper check then they cant give a status, You just have to go by the time table posted on thier site

I filed separately, I wasn't claimed this year. My dad already got his check for $600 and a letter before hand, but I never received a letter stating I would get one.
