What do I do?

So about 1 1/2 - 2 months ago I went to court, bla bla bla, got my license suspended. I signed the paper for the suspension. Fast forward to about a week ago, my buddy calls me and says he got his license back. Im all confused about this because he said it was a 6 month suspension, last week week was his 4th month. So he tells me he called the DMV just out of curiosity to see when he gets it back and they told him his license was still valid. He signed the paper aswell that told him it was suspended. So fast forward again to today, I met up with him and he asked me if I called and I told him no. So I decide to call, and they tell me it's still valid. Im kinda shocked/happy/confused. When I got my suspended 3 yrs ago, it went in their computers like a week later. Same thing with a couple of other people that I know. So Im wondering, should I just keep driving and act like it was a mistake? Or should I go over there and correct them?

I got a DUI a while back and got a permit to drive to work and school. The permit is only good for 4 months, but the suspension was for 6 months, leaving 2 months w/o any kind of driving privilage. I asked the judge about it and he gave me something in writing to give the DMV telling them to reinstate my license after 4 months.

same thing happened to my sister about 2 years ago. She lost hers for 6 months right after she started driving. When the time came to get it back, her and my dad went to the DMV, and they said it was still valid the whole time. About a week later they get a letter in the mail saying my sister's license was revoked and she could get it back in 6 months (this after she had already given it to the judge 6 months before when she went to court). My dad had to raise hell just to get them to fix it. Their whole system is pretty ****ed up.

I lost mine in november of last year, judge made up this crap about 12 months suspension. After my lawyer did lots of reading... he figured out that you cant have your license suspended for more than 6 months. If they want to though, theyll have to revoke it again after each 6 months. My friend lost his when he was 16, when he was 21 he was suppose to get it back. Turned out that whole time his was valid. Mine really is gone though, my friend was driving my car in atlanta and when the cop pulled us over he had his hand on his gun simply because it showed up with my name and multiple suspensions.
