Three things i HATE about going to the movies...

    1. Kids - they are always on their f*cking cell phones, yacking with there stupid friends, and never can sit still

    2. Fanboys - the ones that have to make noise at the film b/c they have some queer desire w/ the film and just need to outburst (every scifi + comic films have them - like the fags who dress up for films)

    3. Black People - ya thats right you read it. A very broad generalization but it is totally true... they always have to talk!!! (black women at horror flicks are my fav)

You would think they would stay home and watch their bootleg copy of the movie. But no, they rather spend $10 to got to the movies and talk on the phone

Aside from those, I hate the fact that after spending $8.50 on a ticket, you have to sit through 15 minutes of commercials before you see a single preview. I am not talking about the trivia/entertainment stuff before the show time (even though that is getting filled with commercials, too).

ya we just paid 9$ per ticket to see Iron Man; I don't know why movies have gotten so expensive and full of stupid advertising.

I'm with ya on number 3.

I went to go see Vacancy at Discover Mills a while ago, and sat in the far back row with my g/f. Some ******* in the back corner was talking to his girlfriend. I hear a few people say that bull**** "shhh" thing, but we all know that doesn't work. I spoke up and told him to stop talking. Apparently he didn't like that and stood up. All I thought was "oh ****, big fat black man" and he came over to me, tried to punch me. and hit my gf instead. I kicked him in the chest and he fell down 2 rows...

Needless to say, I rarely ever go to the movies after this happened. I did however see Iron Man today and everyone was quiet, even though the theater was packed.

Actually, after he fell, she and I got up and went to the front counter. I was gonna let security take over, and as I was telling the mall people what happened (while calming my gf down as well) they came out of the theater. I pointed at them and said that was them. Big black man saw me and actually took off running... leaving HIS girl behind. Guess he was scared? haha. Yeah, we filed charges and I laughed my ass off at him as he was escorted to the police cruiser.

Seriously though, why do people spend $8+ for a ticket and then TALK during the entire thing?????

That's bargin bin type money to OWN a damn movie. I typically only go to movies if it is part of an evening out or something. Much rather watch things on a decent HT setup.

I hate when people bring their baby child to the movies.

I just want to get up and say "Shut the baby up, please."

That happened to me once, there were 6-9 middle school girls, every little horror scene they scared me more than the movie did. Half the people got up and got a refund.

1 more I want to add to the list, babies!

I agree with all 3, had a little kid slurping out of an empty cup for half of Iron Man and I wanted to toss his ass into the movie screen. Black people.. sorry to say but I will not go to dekalb county or clayton co. to watch movies.

Just lie and say your a student. They never ask for student ID. But if they do just say you forgot it. I think its $7.50 for student discount. I try to go to really late or really early to see a movie. The early movie is the cheapest. $5 a ticket.

The Regal in Duluth/Alpharetta charges $9 for a student, and $8 for a matinee ticket =\.
