Default Huge Donk wheels kills clean M3 and almost driver.

As a fellow E36 owner (non-M), my heart momentarily stopped when Mike S. sent us this link to BimmerForums, where one member had a close encounter of the multi-spoke kind while driving down I-880 near San Jose, CA. The wheel apparently fell off another vehicle going in the opposite direction on the freeway, hit the center divider and flew into the air, landing with a tremendous amount of force onto the roof of kpipalldaway2's incredibly clean M3. Judging by the lack of damage to the rest of the vehicle, he was able to pull off the road safely, but even more amazingly, he only suffered a broken shoulder and some cuts from the broken glass. While it's sad to see such a pristine example destroyed by such a gaudy piece of rolling stock, it gets worse. The M3 driver was on a basketball scholarship and his broken shoulder may have put an end to his game days.

im not a big fan of huge rims but ppl that have big rims dont necessarily have to be idiots, maybe theyre idiots since they dont tighten their lug nuts
I asked a girl if i could buy her a drink, she said I have a boyfriend, so I said, well i have a goldfish, she said what? I replied, oh I'm sorry I thought we were talking about shit that doesnt matter.

Maybe this will make the DONK style cars unsafe and not street legal. Wahoo!

That'd be nice. Follow that up by getting rid of these retards with trucks lifted to stupid heights and we'll be set.

Yeah, it'd make sense to buy it back, as he could sell the engine for ~2,500 alone, not to mention some of the other body pieces and aftermarket parts.

People should be allowed to do what ever they want to their cars as long as it's safe. Donk wheels just don't seem to be safe to me. I.ve never seen one that didn't lool like it was about to tip over.

That really sucks ass. Maybe he can salvage the car and turn it in to a vert. I just hope he can recover and play ball again. I would so own the a$$holes life for ruining mine.
