fuack that i'd man up it almost happened twice. Ya gotta do what you gotta do no matter what the hell is going on. if you dont wnt to take responsibility and neighter does she do the right thing and give it up for adoption. Many people cant have kids out there so give them a chance. killing the kid off is wrong. i understand why some people would i just dont agree with it. I couldnt leave any kid i would have period i cant even see how dead beat dad could.

me and mine have had the late "cycles" and with me knowing her position on abortion (if i slip one past the goalie, i'm in the game FO LYFEEEE), i encouraged her to get into softball (then i joined another team and drove the ball into the belly one game we played) and boxing (i havent seen too many preggers boxers, BODY SHOTS FTW!).........JUST KIDDING!

I bet 90% of the people who said they would man up and deal with the responsibilities are full of crap. Doubt the majority of you guys have been in that situation so in reality most of you are just jumpin' on the anti-abortion bangwagon only to sound like a complete dumbass because when the time comes and you're in that situation your first thought will be, abortion. I'm Pro-abortion and think that if you and your partner create something and simply can't take care of it, then get rid of it.

I would man up, there is no doubt about it. I have actually been in this situation 3 times, and yes I'm only 20. I was completely ready for it to happen, until the first time, when she told me she was lying the whole time. The other two times she (different long term g/f) had mis-carrages. It sucked hardcore. So, I did'nt really feel like a dumbass, just felt like someone that had something taken from me. As far as the abortion ish goes......I am against it, but in certain circumstances I think it is plausible, (ie, rape, ect). Thank God, that my biological mother didn't hit the abort button when I was born, because something better happened to me....it was called adoption. I, personally, think that adoption is one of the best things in the world. It's a crying shame when a couple aren't given the blessing of having their own child, and all these deadbeats run around just popping children out. Thank goodness for all the people out there that would take care of what they have created, wheather it be raising their child, or letting someone adopt to better the situation by raising the child themselves.Quote:

It really depends on the situation, I would always take responsibility but for some people an abortion is the only option. At the middle school down the street from me there were six pregnancies last year, I mean come on. Abortion is the right thing to do in a situation like that. As of now if I got my girlfriend pregnant we would definitely get an abortion and I would pay for it. Because of our plans for school having a kid could potentially end what both of us plan on doing. I respect the viewpoint of abortion being wrong and it would kill me to do it, but sometimes you have to look at things from a realistic viewpoint if you're young.

Ive always been taught and braught up that if my girlfriend was to get prego then you man up and take responsbility for it. And ive always wanted kids myself. Well i found out last year that i was a father and my son was almost 4 when i found out. Yes hes mine. theres a long story behind it but i understood her reasoning.But Trust me. knowing that your going to be or am a father sends so many emotions threw you its not even funny. but i wouldnt trade my child for the world. Theres only one way in this world id truly believe in abortions and that is if it risks the life of the woman that is pregnet. but other then that i expect a man to man up to what hes created either that or tell her to put it in another hole!

I was in that situation and I can honestly say that initially I thought about jumping ship and I brought up abortion because at that point I had no kids, was a med student at Emory, and I felt like a kid would have been detrimental to my goals. After a lot of thinking and reflection on the issue, I knew that the only option was for me to man up and take care of my responsibilities but I unfortunately married her in doing so. My daughter from that pregnancy is now 2 and I have another child by my ex is who is 8 months old. I have also adopted and taken care of a child my ex had prior to our relationship just as if she was mine biologically and would never trade my children for anything in this world.
If I had to do it again, I would still man up but I wouldn't have gotten married solely because she was knocked up. Never a good idea.
Im ready to have a kid right now....any IA girls ready to get Preggers O.O
