people scam folks like this all the time. They claim that they are out of the country by the time you call them and that their wife/gf/butt buddy will get the car for you. They make it way too good of a deal to pass up so you give them the money ahead of time and you get no car. I cant believe people actually fall for this, but I have heard of it happening in the crotchrocket community NUMEROUS times.

seems a little ridicululous to sell the car for that low, considering that's probably less than what it cost him for the wheels and exhaust alone.
