LOL something is BS here. I have gotten 53 tickets total and have never been to jail, never had my license suspended (except for 2 days when the state fuked up) and I have never even had a lawyer. I think you are full of sh!t. There is more to this story.

another thing i didn't make this thread to get sympathy or wine. i just made it to let the people i know find out whats up. i mean **** **** sucks when your only option besides walking is drive on suspended license, considering i live at home and help take care of my granparents by doing **** around the house and going grocery shopping with them and the taxi prices around here are threw the fuking roof and not a damn one of the drivers can speak clear english nor understand it.

no nope not really i mean other than the cop being a complete ass hole and it being 7:30 in the morning. i only hae like 9 or 10 tickets and 7 or 8 of them are actually moving violaitons. your lucky is all i can say chris, everyone that knows me on a personal level alsways says i have ****ty luck when it comes to the law and tickets part of life. think what you want but hall county cops are ****s and arrogant as hell. They can take you to jail for anyhting if they want, and on the back of the ciatation there is a list of offenses that they are technically suppossed to take you to jail for instead of just iving you the ticket and letting you go on, and reckless driving is one of them. like i said you have just been lucky.the cop tghat arressted me was trying to act like a big guy infront of the traniee that was with him, yelling and cursing at me telling me that he was gonna make and example out of me because he hated little young punks like me or ones that drove imports.

No they can't just take you to jail for whatever they want, and they can't make up charges. It's called false imprisonment. I have been pulled over all over North Georgia including Hall County. I've been told to go back where I came from in Cartersville. I got busted "driving down a road closed to through traffic." I've been pulled over for "impersonating an emergency vehicle" on Barrett Parkway. I've gotten wreckless driving, improper passing, 81 in a 55, 84 in a 55, got pulled over for 142 in a 55, got put on probation for my driving record, etc. I have still never gone to jail. Its not luck. The BS meter is rising.

Woah, what happened with going 142 in a 55?

I thought they arrest you and impound your car for that?

That one was actually luck. Verbal warning. Long story. I thought I was going to jail. It was remarkable that I didn't.

Hell yeah that's lucky. I spent a night in jail for doing 73 in a 35...luckily the cop wasn't a tool and cut me a break and didn't charge me with reckless driving.

I knew the cop that pulled me over. His verbal warning was "Chris, if I EVER catch you going this fast again, I am pulling you out of your CRX and beating the hell out of you with my night stick."

Yeah, that's really lucky. I've gotten out a number of tickets in Clayton County just because I responded to thier calls with him half the time, so most of them look in the window and see me in uniform and just turn around and walk away.

    Henry County...no so much.

Street Speed, I'm not saying you are a liar or a retard, but can you understand why people are having a hard time believing that you lost your license for running a yellow light with nothing else going on?

Just out of curiosity, if you've held a job since you were fourteen working full time (which is illegal btw but we'll overlook that) where do you get off bitching at people who DO have enough money to live away from their mom and dad and have evos? I mean, working for seven years solid, full time, with no rent/insurance/electric/water bills to pay....where did the money GO?!

One of my friends actually went to jail for Reckless Driving. He didnt stay long since his dad was a Probate officer. Either way, sucks it happened. Just get some paper. Dont drive illegally cause getting caught only pushes the suspension out longer and costs u more money.

Running a red light is a Misdemeanor. You must have got an attitude with the cop or had something illegal in your car or warrants or something. AND if you didnt have any of those things you should have gotten a better lawyer.

I mean, ****, surprisingly all of the times I've been pulled over were for reckless driving and I NEVER lost my license or went to jail. The one time I did go to jail for a traffic offense was after running a red light on a one way street at 3 am, but the cop arrested me because I admitted drinking underage, not for running the stupid redlight. I wasn't drunk btw and they dropped the DUI

Im sure if since you were charged with reckless driving you probably swirved around somebody to get through the light before it turned red. Maybe even a school bus being that early

Yeah and.... they can take you to jail for any charge. doesn't matter misdamenor or felony and no i do not and never have had any warrants on me and no i have never had any felony charges or any really bad misdamenors other than stupid minor traffic violations, and no i did not get an attitude with cop. I did not have any thing that was in any way illegal no drugs, guns, knives, wepons of any type, nor any alcohol of anytype. I couldn't afford a lawyer at that point in time cause i had been layed off from my previous job and after a month of searching i found a new and started it the previous day but this in turn cause me to loose that new job.
