    Default Congrats to Clark94T!! 8.86@157mph

    TopSpeed Tuned Supra Runs back to back 8's!!!!
    Our good friend Clark has finally broke the 8 second barrier in his street driven Topspeed Tuned Supra. Not once but twice today did he run 8's.

    For those that don't know the car its full weight, with A/C and subs in the back. A true street car in every sense. Clark has done almost all the wrenching on his own car and drives it on the streets daily racking up atleast 15k miles in a year on it. This is not some fully gutted drag car or dyno queen.

    Everyone here at Topspeed is very excited for him and look forward to seeing much faster times.

    its been auto since ive seen him run. definitely gotten faster bc i saw him run a low 10 with nitrous a while back. good job

    sounded like a power glide

    Im pretty sure its always been a 6speed until recently he got the auto im guessing. I know last season he was on a 6speed.

    Yea positive. When he ran that 9 sec at import showdown he was on a 6 speed.

    They aren't the only ones running 6spds going that fast. Paul Efantis from MSP racing ran a 8.9 with a 6 spd. Ryan Woon from WOTM ran mid 8's and Boost Logic ran an 8.49 I think with a 6spd.

    looks good but it sounds like it shifts 2 times for a total of 3 gears you can hear the last shift near the end.

    Then youre dumb. Obviously it has a built 2j with a huge ass turbo, badass fuel system, drag suspension setup, fuel management system, slicks and so on. Do you really need specifics on what it really has? Asking what an 8 sec car has done to it is a plain ol stupid ass question period.
