I have always detested wal-mart and everything it represents, but it just became worse.

As if they don't collect enough money off of every mexican with 10 kids and middle class schlubs that don't research what they are buying, they just had to make it worse.

I just called to verify employment on a customer and they told me they don't do it "in store", that I have to call an 800 number that will charge me 3.48 to verify employment.

W T F???

This is one of the many reasons why I don't support this megalomaniacal corporation.

On the upper hand they do supply a lot of jobs, hiring anyone that will work there, which is why I recieved sh!tty customer service when I used to shop there.

I'm sure this starts with the employer, because when the employee is treated crappy they treat the customer the same way.

Yea, but this is just one of many reasons. They are hurting their employees by doing this. Places don't want to pay to simply ask if someone works there. Things like this could prevent my customer from getting into a car.
