still, $35 to fill up our EF's is getting to be too much.

for people who have minimum wage paying jobs, the price of gas is already a burden.

and we could solve all of this if the democrats that get money from the Sauid's would allow us to drill for oil in ANWR!!!!!!! The elderly liberal Floridians are so concerned that they might possibly see an oil rig out of their window....which isn't even possible because the Earth is ROUND!

This country is ****ed until Citizens elect politicians that don't have ties to big business. Corporations and the elitist run this country and I really hope that ppl will eventually see this. I think there should be a cap on campaign spending, and candidates should only be allowed to debate on live television and not be allowed to have commercials/ internet ads.

I know I am a dreamer, this will never happen

You need to join the debate over in the Wallstreet forum. You are one of those people that think "big business" is sooooo evil and bad for america?

No, there should not be a cap on campaign spending.....the candidates have worked hard for that money and should be allowed to spend whatever money they want to. People should not be punished for being RICH! The rich get richer because they keep doing what made them rich. The poor get poorer because they keep doing what made them poor (NOTHING!)

This is the reason why this country will never again see a decent president. Work hard??? Candidates mostly get their money donated to their campaign by special interest groups, Corporations and by regular citizens. Some candidates spend a lot of their own money like Romney. The presidential race is basically what politician slept with what and how many special interest groups/ Corporations to get the funding to have all those tv ads/ publicity . I don't give a fu.ck about who is rich or who is poor, but when candidates have to payback those special interest groups and corporations with favors once he or she is elected, this is why are country has so many damn problems

They were saying on the news last night there are 3,000 new cars each week joining the roads in China and that is casuing the worst air polution on the planet because the average speed of these cars is 5mph due to such traffic.

Wrong. If you are claimed as someone else's dependent, you will not be recieving a stimulus check.

    As found from:irs.gov

    Quote Originally Posted by irs.gov

A: You won’t get a stimulus payment in 2008, if any of the following apply to you:

    • You don’t file a 2007 tax return.
    • Your net income tax liability is zero and your qualifying income is less than $3,000. To determine your qualifying income, add together your wages, net self-employment income, nontaxable combat pay, Social Security benefits, certain Railroad Retirement benefits and certain veterans’ payments.
    • You can be claimed as a dependent on someone else’s return. For example, this would include a child or student who can be claimed on a parent’s return.
    • You do not have a valid Social Security Number.
    • You are a nonresident alien.
    • You file Form 1040NR or Form 1040NR-EZ, Form 1040PR or Form 1040SS for 2007.

GREED?????? It is basic economics! They have a product and we have a demand for that product so the oil companies can raise the price to whatever they want and we will still pay for it. I don't blame them for making a profit, thats business.
