    Default Whats going to be the next hot Tuner Car??

    Topspeed is looking into buying a new shop project car. We would like to get everyones opionion first on what you think will be then next hot market.

    We are looking for a mass produced turbo car, that someone could easily mod. The price must be under 40k.

    Id say the Solstice GXP or the Saturn Sky Redline, Both boosted and potential and sexy, To me the sky as far as looks blows the Solstice away (Kinda like a G35 blows in style wise a 350z)

    I think that the new hot tuner car will be the next gen hyundai tibby.. Should fit you bill nicely if the come out with the turbo 4.

    The A5 is definitely dope, but with an msrp of right around $39k it will be highly out of reach for a majority of the "tuner" market.

    I think maybe the new Cobalt SS turbo with 260 hp might be good.
    Next gen mazdaspeed 3.
    RX-7/9 if they ever come out.
    Next gen 240 if that ever comes out.
    Mazdaspeed Miata coupe if that ever happens.
    Genesis coupe.
    Maybe a bigger interest in Euro Turbos, GTI/Jetta/used A4 and such.
    Used bmw 135i/335i's.

    I say MS3-6......because I don't see fully built ones. I'd love to see a built engine with a big ass turbo on it. AWD Speed6!

    I have a feeling a luxury car will be. Car prices are dropping and with a weak economy, that means prices will continue to drop.

    Add the fact luxury brands sell more than ever and tons are leased and the used car luxury market will be flooded.

    Buyers can then get a Lexus or BMW etc at a very low price with a solid aftermarket.

    as ghey as it sounds, i'm being practical

    Before now, the 350z/ g35 and the rx8... (cars which i don't really care too much for) weren't as deep into the "tuner" crowd as they might be soon as the prices depreciate. I can see those booming at the launch of the GTR, and the birth of a "poor man's GTR"... even though the vq35 sucks, i'm sure you guys can possibly do something about it?

    as far as the rx8, the car sucks major balls, i retract my statement lol there wont be a market for them bc they suck lawl... no one will buy one.

    New STI- people are already modding them like crazy
    New EVO 10- Heard the motors arent as strong as they used to be, an bushur has a few supposedly
    G35-blah
    370z-blah
    GTR-$$$$$
    Anything Honda-Blah
    Toyota- Blah

    theres nothing our right now that excites me, or even remotely interests me.

    The only cars that interest me are 70-100K Lol

    New colbalt ss, or the scion tc. Its the new age civic for a reason, when the people currently driving civics and **** start seeing how cheap these are and how much power they have stock there going to jump on them. Plus the new xB2 has the same engine.
