    Unhappy Son of a b*tch...

My dad has given me the privilige to work on my own car all week. we open 8-6 but i've been there 7-7 alllll week trying to get her going. Finally, the final moments friday night i get her fired up. She runs beautifully. I pull her outside and notice my crank pulley isnt all the way in...FAWK....This was due to 2 gears behind the crank pulley for timing. one of them has an offset so the crank pulley can go an extra 1/8" deeper...obviously I had that gear backwards. I've done this before. Stupid mistake. So i putted the car around friday night taking it easy on her and the belt.

Saturday comes...my day off. I take her to the shop to start tearing down the front of the engine (s/c, IC pipes, water pump, engine cover, oil pan, etc...) Not that big of a deal except that you are leaving about 2ft in and 2 ft down. very stressful on your back and knees. So im in severe pain right now. Nothing was going right, timing slipped a little bit, gaskets werent lining up, couldnt find tools, heli coils broke, blah blah...

FINALLY..i get passed everything. I button her all up. I tried to keep the timing as stable as possible. (this car has 4...FOUR timing chains and a bunch of gears and NONE of them have notches on them....) I go to fire her up. Instant fire up.. YAY...just as fast as she started...she died and lost compression. SON OF A FUKING B*TCH!!!!!!!!!!!! one of the gears slipped somewhere...so now i am forced to pull the motor back out and re time EVERYTHING...in a day.

My father let me use the shop all week. Im sooo happy for that. And I could leave the car where she sits right now, but thats not right. I have to do the best i can to get her out the shop. It's just not right..

    /rant...~sighs~
