i was looking at that 2jzswap website today and some of those guys's builds look extremely
expensive just for the supplies needed to swap the shit over....and when i mean expensive i mean like they had like 11k in just swapping the motor in....i cant spend that fucking much on just swapping the shit over...you better have a game plan baker. Or i keel you son
That's what i was sayin son...Shit is expensive unless already have a lot of the shit. You could always try to find a 1jz swap that already has the r154 and front sump oil pan and maybe ECU.. That saves you the $350 bellhousing..$300+ for the trans.. and trying to find the right pan.
shit turbodave said he could do a single turbo setup and in for 3/4ths of what they are saying its gonna cost....but fuck it thats what student loans are for
And the extended shifter housing..another $300.. Which I believe means you have to find a 1jz out of a chaser.. You can find a lot cheaper Intercooler kits than 600..more like $150 for IC, piping and couplers/clamps...and don't have to spend $500 on an exhaust either..........and leave the stock twin turbos..
and could always swap in a 2jz block down the road.
But then theres the $1500 for the swap kit which is just the crossmembers and driveshaft..Unless you find some used kit or someone that makes the shit cheaper..
