two days of working on my truck and i finally got a it done. had to pull the oil pump. and to do that you must pull the motor so i did that. $110 later i have a new pump and a oil pan gasket. finally got it all together around 8pm today and now im just waiting for Autozone to open to get some oil, anti-freeze, tranny fluid, and power steering fluid and ill be driving it buy noon

The day I bought my Explorer I did an engine swap, new clutch, full exhaust, lowered it front/rear, algined it, full stereo system, tint, mounted/balanced new wheels/tires. Replaced the front bumper and hood. And still drove it home that day around 7:00.
i had to run like 10 miles of wire... but i hid it all better than the pros

When you have all the parts its not hard. I also did a full engine/trans/subframe swap on an Escape in about 4.5 hours.
it dont take long to do a motor swap if you have all the tools and the information you need to do it. but im goiun to take a wild guess and say you were in a shop cause it would be pretty hard to do this all in a backyard
