No please explain the LONG STORY. and Japanese v8's aren't performance oriented they are just big motors the LS1 is a sport motor and has been proven time and time again as to why it's the greatest small block EVER made.

lol ask the guys with Corvette's in this forum, they know of this story, the 200 page war i had with them about the LS1 v.s other engines.

I don't care if it's played out or not. It's proven power. Im not looking for something new or fresh, I'll stick with what I know is gonna make the power I need. This car will run high 10's with heads, cam, intake, and slicks. That is what im sold on. Not sticking with Japanese parts in my japanese car.
