Hydrogen is the fuel of the future. The hydrogen drive has been undergoing trials
at BMW since 1978 and has now entered the production development process.
The 6th generation will go into everyday operation.

The new Research and Innovation Centre (Forschungs- und Innovationszentrum,
or FIZ) is built near the Group Headquarters and the Munich Plant. The FIZ is the
hub of the Group‘s global research and development network.

In 1992 BMW AG took the decision to built a car production plant in the USA:
the Spartanburg Plant.
Nine series make up the BMW automobile range.
Here the BMW 1 Series Coupé, 3 Series Convertible, 5 Series Touring,
6 Series Convertible and 7 Series.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars became part of the BMW Group on January 1st 2003. The company’s worldwide activities are controlled from Goodwood in the south of England. The Roll—Royce plant, nestling in the landscape near Chichester, has won several awards.
