I have to say as a raging bull it is damn nice to wake up, turn on the screens at home and see the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 256 points. FOMO + FONI = FUHR
Even better, the Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq all closed at their highs for the day. That is a very, very bullish signal and suggests what we are seeing has more to it than being just another short squeeze.
Speaking to a couple of traders on Wall Street earlier this morning they tell me the mood of those coming back from summer holidays is changing to “glass half full”.
Traders and investors are slowly trying to see positives in the slowing rate of negatives. As one trader said to me this morning: “Earnings, economic data, commodities, banks and techs have all bottomed. The day this market gets any signal that unemployment growth is slowing you will see one of the greatest rallies ever.”
So I just fucked up and took a nap, I'll be awake all night... awesome.
The key is that we've been sitting at a base of about 8000 or so for a few weeks.. this is a signal that there is support around 8000 and seeing bullish buys for the last couple days means that we could be in for a test of the 9000 mark by the end of the week.. there will be some profit taking tomorrow and Friday's are usually slow so I don't think we'll see 9000 then but hopefully next week.Quote:
