    Default Peroxide Cold Trick?

Anyone heard of the anti-cold method by using peroxide in your ear canals at the first symptoms of a cold? Supposedly a majority of cold viruses are actually aquired through the ear canal. This is just heresay, but I was wondering if anyone else had heard of this. You are supposed to fill the canal completely, and wait until the bubbles stop.

when i do this generally just get a cap full and pour it in your ear honestly... it will spill and make a mess but it fills it all up let it sit in there if any stays in there for like 15 seconds or so. then tilt your head and get a Q tip and all done.

I do that just to clean my ear out good. It bubbles any wax you may miss or don't feel safe reaching for with a Q-tip. I say it doesn't work because I've been sick for two weeks and I use that method every other week or so for the hell of it.
