true my friend. I was just playing. my carry weapon happen to be a two toned smith and wesson. it's not a bling factor of it though. I dont even put chrome on my car.

I have a Sig Sauer .380 which a little on the small side for personal defense but with hollow points, I can't see anybody living through that. I have it for personal home defense but its light and small so I could carry it if needed.

Why do you need an external safety? That's just one more thing that you need to remember to switch off when you actually NEED to use your weapon. No thanks.

I'll stick with my Glock 23.

I currently carry a 1911 and have had many handguns. My next handgun will be a P22 (for plinking) and a P99 (new carry weapon)

    We need to go shooting.

check out the Smith and Wesson M&P series compacts as another option. the changeable backstrap on the grip makes them a nice option for hands of all sizes/shapes.

only real safety you need is your trigger finger, other than that, just pick something that's comfortable and fits your hand well.
