But not a bad company, They take care of you thats for sure aslong as your shit is right.

I worked for QT before I went to Racetrac.. I started at QT when I was 16 PT and started going to college.. Saw the potential in the Retail business.. left college went full time with qt when I was 18, Became a 2nd assistant with them, back in 97 made 38 k that year, at 18 thats alot of $$$ Thats the lowest Income I have earned since.
But QT had to much politics for me.. RT offer more money.. and damn they are much more laidback and take more care of you.
Dude, i am on the road that you were back then... i got hooked up with a job at QT (where i work now) at 16, and i have no complaints... and yes it is a lot of work and it is very fast paced! but yeah i am 17 now and i will be hanging out with QT for a while, considering that next year will be time for college... and at 8.25 an hour, that is plenty of money being in school and overall a very competitive pay for my age as a PT clerk... cool to see someone's opinion who did what i am probably going to do

Wild Wing Cafe, I work as a cook and food prep. When cooking I work in the wing section and make the marinades for the wings, and get to bucket chicken (yummm...not) I am working my way to the appetizers section. During days that I get to prep, I make all the food for the coming days. From the ranch you dip your celery in to the salads you eat...along with the cole slaw and brownies....the rack of ribs to the chili and tomato soup...

I work for 2 companies but 1 job...Newell Investigative Services Inc.-Which we are Fire Cause and Origin Investigators for mostly Automobile Manufacturers, our biggest client is Ford Motor Co., but we work with them all...As for that company my job is that I learn as much as possible from my boss and one day become a investigator for the company...We have 2 investigators locally(Gainesville) that travel 5 and 6 days a week year round working cases and 1 in Montana and 1 in Las Vegas, Nv...They handle as much of the stuff on the west coast as possible. The 2nd company I work for is Litigation Storage Specialists, we collect, store, and hold inspections on evidence involved in litigated matters, mostly vehicles that are wrecked or burned, and some that are exemplar vehicles for some of our cases. My job with it is to basically make sure that the warehouse runs smoothly and to take care of everything and handle inspections...Anyways I know that was pretty long but figure I would give some explenation

I teach/Run/Manage a Taekwondo school in Alpharetta. I have about 150 students that I teach martial arts too. I am in charge of 2 other employees, and I do all the sales, upgrades, and introductions.

It's a lot of work, and a lot of hours; but hopefully if everything pays off I'll be kicking back when I'm 30.

I work for Cintas Uniform. I'm supposed to run the 2nd shift wash alley, but because we're really short handed, I run the wash alley, maintain waste water, help hang clothes, pretty much have the supervisor role. Yeah, our 2nd shift supervisor just quit and our plant manager doesn't know dick about how anything in that plant works.

I work for a consulting engineering firm. We do primarily healthcare work. Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, & Fire Protection engineering. I am a mechanical engineering designer, so I design HVAC & piping systems primarily. Engineering in healthcare is definitely not your cut & dry engineering. Everything has a very specific requirement or code that we have to go by. This is one of the toughest engineering fields to be in. Makes my work very challenging because no project is alike, every one is a custom project.

You can go here to see some of our client list:

We also work in South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, & Tennesee.

    I love what I do.

I work for AutoZone. I am a Commercial Driver/Commercial Specialist at my location. I deliver parts to places like Tires Plus, Firestone, NTB, small independant shops, etc. Its a good job. Some days I am the Comm. Spec. I send the drivers on runs, collect payments from the customers, etc. Its kind of seperate from what regular autozone employees do, not to mention WAYYYYY easier and relaxing.

In a few weeks though I am being promoted to a PSM (Parts sales manager)

I work for Count On Tools. Currently, I am the webmaster and the head of advertising and media for my company...Doing pretty good since I just started 2 years ago as their webmaster and now I handle all the advertising, catalogs, handouts, websites, etc, and I still have one year of high school left to go...

I think all together I have about 30 sites that I am working on for this company. I haven't gotten them all done yet, but I am in progress. We are also looking in to expanding our advertising into some major magazines. Oh, and I also maintain their store on Amazon.com.

Well As i already answered once.. I will say what I used to do at my last job.. I was a vet tech.. I placed IV catheders, pulled blood, ran bloodwork, Helped with exam, dentals, surgury prep, pulled up vaccines, worked in the kennel, X-rays, even had to help with euthanasias... so I did a bit of everything, and have been for 5 years. It's what I love to do...

My wife used to be a vet-tech. She also loved doing it. Except it only paid like $8 an hour so she had to find something to help me support our family a bit more than 1 bill per month-lol. They are VERY underpaid positions.
