    dude when i was in high school they made us sit in this assembly and at the end of it they wanted all of us to stand up and sing the black national anthem. my ass stayed in the seat needless to say

    Its kinda funny that schools close for this day instead of on presidents day. Presidents day was originally meant to be in remembrance of George Washington's birthday but later changed to a day close to it to remember all presidents. My personal opinion is what all of them did combined for this country vastly outweighs what MLK did.
