Working a 12 hour shift (9am-9pm) while knowing your store is closing at the end of the month......
But wait it gets better, then at 5pm you are told that actually your store is now closing 5 days from now (Monday) and it is a pharmacy, so we have so much shit to do to get all the drugs out and inventory and shit. THen my day ends up being a 13 hour day! YAY! LOL

didn't know you worked in a pharmacy??? well try working 4am-2pm thats what kate my wife works at Egelston OR Pharmacy

yea that blows too, but she doesnt have to pack up a pharmacy right now so i would rather be her.

shit i basically have a pharmacy running at my house! i have so many medications from when i had my surgery - they gave me so many different kinds since i was allergic to them i have a little drugstore going on.

Try working 7 on and 7 off. Hulud, don't complain....I told about the hospitals hiring. BTW, I heard that Publx is going to have a Pharmacy?

Yea ive done quite a few of those. Here in Germany you have flying quiet hours that start at 11. And crews know if they can get close to that as possible they can easily cancel the mission or take their time till it too late. Well the other nite we had to board an aircraft at like 9:30 well the whole time im bitchin saying why are we doin this its not going to leave yadda yadda...well we load them and had to asist with HRs (Human remains) so thats takes a long time also bc of the procedure..ANYWAYS..at 9:50 we got the call to go unload 20 something passengers with like 2 huge mothafucken each. Needless to say my 10 end of shift came at like 11:30 that nite...well im done.

yea 7on 7off could suck, but yea im getting a job at Publix after we close. im just saying about teh amount of fucking work it takes to close a pharmacy and finding out that it closes in 5 days. THAT BLOWS!

Is Saverite just going out of business? I\'ve never even seen a Saverite. I just heard from a Pharmacist friend that Publix was going to open up shop there. I don\'t know their payscale for Pharm Techs. Retail in general is a pain but when I was working for PCS Healthsystems ( mailorder Pharmacy ) we were shipping out over 250,000 Rxs a week, obviously most were 30 and 90 day supply.

yea retail can blow, but actuall publix just bought our files and drugs. i think publix is going in a couple saverites but not mine. i jsut got lucky that the tech was going off to school so they had a spot open.
