Does BOV makes your car seems fast?

I am a proud owner of a SR swapped S14. I am a GSU student that drive to school. Today when I drove pass student center (last block before the parking lot), there was a white boy walking across the street. I just shifted to 3rd gear and the bov went off (about 30-35mph). I believe he thought I was driving really fast and he actually jumped back even though I was far away from him (at least another 20ft when he jumped). I did not come to a complete stop and once I rolled closer to him, he ran right in front of the car and starting yelling at me, acting like he is really mad at me...

I need a blonde chick to talk to right now to make myself feel better...

haha..still false. there are different style blowers. roots (top mount) and turbo style..(mine) roots style dont use BOVs.
