    Default Someone Explain This To Me......

    When you have weekends like this and you own a drop top, why do you not have it down? I would say this weekend, especially yesterday about 95% of the people I saw with drop tops had thier tops up, and the few I did see had thier windows up with top down I mean why own one if on weekends like this past weekend you dont use the car for what its meant for? lol.

    because people are gay. the point in having a drop top is to never put it up, rain or shine, ice or heat... speed up or slow down depending on weather conditions might as well just take the top off the car completely

    i know even if its nice an sunny out, doesnt change the fact that 60* weather plus 50+mph ****ing feels cold, and i dont know bout you, but i like to be comfortable and enjoy my rides around.

    If I owned a ragtop it would be only because I bought a roadster. Personally, if the Roadster body-style did not have a ragtop, I would be happier. Regardless, it was still f'n cold over this past weekend, so the windows and sunroof on the Audi were up, If I'd had an S2k or Miata, top would have been sealed as well.

    I'm sure I'm not the only one who's considered getting a Miata who doesn't like convertibles in general. But hell, I'd still buy one just because Roadster's are, well, awesome. Period.

    Weekends like this one make me miss my Miata. The top was always down unless it was raining. I even got snowed on once with the top down. That was cool.

    I didn't drive my car this weekend because I was out of town but sometimes I just don't really feel like putting the top down on my car.....


    If I was going to keep it longer, I'd get a hardtop.....

    I would get a hardtop but I cant see spending $2500 for one when we live in a city where even in the winter we can have un expected 70 degree days like we have that give extra days to enjoy the car
