Well i own 22 pairs of Jordans form various years. Some I have only worn maybe once or twice. It all depends on the person and what they like. When my g/f got me started I laughed my ass off "WTF,who collects sneakers?!!" But slowly but surely I was assimulated into the culture. Shit, my lil brother collects jordans too. I thought it was dumb when he first started doing it. But years later they came in handy. He's been selling those fuckers like hell on ebay. He has some that I have never seen before and everyone that likes Jordans always ask me where he gets them from or if he'll sell them some. The shit is crazy, but if that's what people like.

looking at the worst case scenario........22 pairs of jordans x $150.00 a pop uh....that's $3,300 spent on shoes that may have been worn 2x max....hmmm...

not raggin at all but me personally, if i spend 100+ on basketball shoes they will be used for just that....besides for me it doesnt make sense. i've never played basketball seriously in my life, so me spending any amount for b-ball shoes wont happen. now since i played football most my life. a pair of cross trainers do me just fine. i tend to use things for what their intended purpose is for. shoes especially.
if i buy running shoes i better use them to run, b-ball shoes, i better be playing b-ball. 150.00 pair of b-ball shoes? i'm joining the run and shoot and imma b-ball that 150.00 outta them!

I don't "collect" Jordans, but I have owned about 20 pair of Jordans, and quite a few pair of Jumpmans and trunners. I used to play basketball though. I don't mind spending money on something I like, be it shoes, car parts, or whatever.

That is the ONLY shoe that I will spend that kind of money on. Right now I get all of my shoes for $25-35 through a connection.

yeah on car parts stuff like that i can do it. not shoes for me. it's cool to have good kicks but i dont collect them. as far as collectiong though, i like to collect knives and blue glassware (funny enough). i have this thing for blues of this color. blue is my favorite color anyway.
