    rofl, why? they take the chemical out of it that causes hallucinations. or if they claim it has it, there's such a small percentage it doesn't do shit. the real reason you get messed up is because it has an insanely high alcohol percentage. but it tastes like ass. we went to a bunch of absenth bars when i went to school in paris.

    it tastes like anise or fennel if you like that sort of thing. (black licorice). wormwood is what used to fuck people up back in the day and why it got banned - but nowadays with modern distilleries not much is left of the original "la fée verte" (the green fairy).

    I had absinth in Amsterdam and it did nothing at all. Its amazing what one movie can do to spike the popularity of something.

    well, it used to mess with people back in the 1800s, mainly because there was no regulation of what companys could put into their stuff, hehe. now it's too strictly controlled to really make you see shit. they claim there's still wormwood in it, but it's not enough to mess with your head - maybe at the most you might feel like you've smoked a bowl if you get a really good bottle of it.

    Absinth is relative good. I drink a shot or two every other friday. and Yea its been WAY popular b4 the movie its the culture of the drink that makes it so popular not the movie... But then again I LIVE in Germany so its not that big of a deal here. Just make sure you drink it with a Sugar Cube. Hence the Spoon..

    Well Absinth without a lighted sugar cube is like... Masterbation...It'll do the trick but just isnt the good shit. Unless you order it online i dont think you can get it with WormWood in the US. Some local liquor stores here sell it with WormWood, but then again we arent allowed to drink it bc it will show in our PeePee..lol
