you honestly can't really put the blame on the other man, in my opinion it is completely the fault of the girl. if she hadn't given the guy the vibes that it was okay then it would have never happened, unless it was rape. the had to have been out looking for that kind of thing to happen, otherwise it wouldn't have. it just shows that the girl doesn't take her real relationship seriously.

So all in all, no I wouldn't go beat his ass because the blame would rest on my girlfriend in my opinion. And she wouldn't be my girlfriend for much longer after that.

well yeah i believe he would be somewhat at fault, but not enough to make me go kick his ass. if you're going to kick someones ass it should be the person that is supposedly in love with you and has shared so many things with you over 3 years. and since kicking a girls ass is the lowest of the low, i don't think anyone should get their ass beat haha. unless of course it was a really close friend of mine who did this, then that would be it.
